1. Single purpose
TT Stats overlays public video counts already on tiktok.com Search, hashtag, Explore, and profile-grid cards, and computes engagement rate, page medians, and views/day in the browser. It does not log into TikTok. It does not download videos. It does not scrape in the background.

so the website can hand a signed licence token to the extension after login or checkout.
No other site can do that.
3. Chrome Web Store data types

4. What stays on the device
chrome.storage.sync— UI toggles (ttStatsConfig).chrome.storage.local— licence (ttLicense) and daily quota (ttFeatureQuota).- Overlay math — engagement rate, median vs loaded posts, views/day — computed in the page. Zero network from TikTok pages.
- Licence check — ECDSA P-256 verify in the service worker. It does not ping us on every card.
5. What we do not do
- No TikTok login, cookies, passwords, or payment details.
- No remote code. The extension is unbundled MV3 source loaded as packed files.
- No sale of personal data. No ads in the overlay.
- No general browsing history. No keylogging. No clipboard capture.
6. Telemetry
The service worker may POST product events to
https://ttstats.app/api/telemetry and to Google Analytics 4
Measurement Protocol. Fields are clamped before storage. Events are for
product quality, not to rebuild your TikTok session.

7. Sharing
We do not sell extension data. Processors: Cloudflare (Workers, D1, email), Google (Analytics; OAuth only if you sign in on the website). Paddle handles paid plans on the website as merchant of record and does not run inside the extension.
8. Retention and rights
Local storage lasts until you remove the extension or clear site data. Server account and licence records follow the full Privacy Policy. To access, correct, or delete personal data, email privacy@ttstats.app from the address on the account.
The Service is not directed at children under 16.
